Target Version: Minecraft 1.21.10 | Base: Fabric Loader v0.18.1

We are excited to provide this important update, elevating the Modpack base to the latest Minecraft version and including numerous stability improvements.

✅ Improvements and Stability Fixes

  • Core Update: The modpack is now fully updated to the stable Minecraft version 1.21.10.
  • Stability (NVIDIA Fix): We have fixed critical errors that could cause crashes on systems running NVIDIA graphics cards. General stability should be greatly improved.
  • Performance Optimization: All relevant performance mods (like Sodium, Lithium, Iris) have been updated to their latest 1.21.10-compatible versions.

⚠️ Known Issues and Limitations

The following features are currently faulty, temporarily inactive, or missing in this release:

Feature / Mod Issue / Reason
Controller Support (Controlify) Currently faulty. We are actively working on a fix. Specific known issues include:
    • Xbox / Steam Deck The Right Joystick (Camera movement) is not functioning correctly.
    • Xbox / Steam Deck The D-Pad (directional pad) is non-functional.
    • Steam Deck The Left Trackpad is not recognized or is inactive.
    • Steam Deck General crashes may occur when playing on the Steam Deck.
Connected Textures The mod providing Connected Textures is not yet compatible with Minecraft 1.21.10.
FabricSkyBoxes The mod for custom skies/skyboxes is incompatible and had to be removed to prevent crashes.

📅 Outlook: Next Minecraft Version

Please note that the next major Minecraft version (e.g., 1.22) has not yet been released.

We at Vanilla Apex are working hard to provide you with the best modpack experience as quickly as possible. Our goal is to release an update for our modpack within the first two weeks following the official release of the new Minecraft version, provided that enough critical dependency mods are updated in time.
