Vanilla Awakened – Geronimo Server Edition

Vanilla Awakened 1.2.0+26.2 – RC5 Update Test

This release candidate focuses on improving the update experience for existing players while preserving their personal settings.

Fixes & Improvements

• Removed the bundled options.txt to prevent personal settings from being overwritten during modpack updates.
• Improved resource pack handling through Packed Packs.
• Set the custom "Vanilla Awakened!" splash resource pack to load automatically with the correct priority.
• Preserved all existing mods, gameplay configurations, and custom datapacks from RC4.

Testing Focus

We are specifically testing upgrades from 1.1.0 to 1.2.0+26.2, including:

• Preservation of graphics, audio, and personal settings.
• Shader and Distant Horizons settings.
• Resource pack selection and load order.
• Keybindings and mod-specific configurations.

Known limitation: Default language and narrator settings on fresh installations are still being investigated.

This is an Alpha testing build, not the final public release.
