Vanilla Finest

Important troubleshooting tips:

• Please disable Modrinth's Fullscreen in Instance Defaults/Window menu in Modrinth Settings, as it modifies options.txt and causes issues.
• I suggest to disable Syncing/Sync game options and Sync resource packs as well, it can interfere with the modpack.
• If Better Advancements tabs don't work, please disable caps lock and num lock.
• Euphoria Patches shaders have error messages in the End dimensions. They work, and this will be fixed soon.
• Iris has a rare bug that can cause crashes. If it happens, disable shaders, load the world, and switch shaders back.

5th version for 26.3. Really wanted to call this a Release, all features are in, Voxy is back, but still waiting for the shader updates!

Features coming back:

• Voxy! As all shaders and Atmospherics are tuned for Voxy, this is the intended look. Don't worry, if you don't like it or your system can not handle it, just switch it off in the Video Settings.
• Even better 3rd person view animations with Touch'n Motion.
• Villages Revamped is back in Adventure mode, upgrades Vanilla villages to look more in line with Dungeons and Taverns. (Add cushions to chairs so you can sit down.)
• Toggle Nametags works again.
• Reacharound is back in Creative Edition replacing Bridging Mod.
• As Leawind's Third Person does not seem to be updated any time soon, I stick with Shoulder Surfing, and moved it's settings onto the numeric keypad. Left and right arrows are still used for Elytra Contrails twirls.
• I have been asked to test Cull Leaves again instead of Cull Fewer Leaves. Let me know what you think, my opinion is that it has better frame rates, but also more lags. So I do not really like it, might change back in the Release.

Disabled features:

• ServerCore is disabled, but in case you want better performance instead of 100% vanilla compatibility you can turn it on (you can experience problems only in some very rare redstone farms).
• Better End Sky is still disabled, as it is unstable on certain systems. You can test it: go to the End dimension and change the resource packs. If it does not crash, you are good to go.
• I personally like Better Snow Coverage, but it is disabled by default. Give it a try, flowers, grass will be covered with snow if there are snow layers next to them.

Creative Edition is Vanilla Edition plus these creative features:

Armor Stands, Axiom, Better Command Block UI, Big Sign Writer, Head Index (until Head Browser is available), Litematica with Schematic Preview, Name Tag Upgrade, Flashback, Freecam, Gamma utilities, Picture Mode, Tweakeroo, WorldEdit with CUI

Why I call the base a "Vanilla Edition":

• World generation: There is no change in world generation. Version 26.3 is so much faster than previous versions that it is satisfyingly fast enough without C2ME, meaning you don't have to risk compatibility issues.
• ServerCore removal: I also disabled ServerCore. You will see noticeably higher TPS in complex worlds, but with original ticking, every redstone farm should be 100% compatible. If you want you can switch it back.
• Feature adjustments: I removed several quality of life features from the Vanilla Edition that changed vanilla behavior (like block placement helpers) but kept all visual updates. Gameplay changes still in: Crawl with a button press, No Enderman Grief, Auto Elytra/Chestplate swapping, Horseman for easier horse handling.
• Creative Edition extended Survival features: You can still play Survival in Creative Edition with: A Minor Convenience, Better Happy Ghast Control, Cut Through, Debugify, Hey Wiki, InvMove, Jade, Nether Portal Fix, Open Together, Placement Helpers, Reach Behind, Visible Trades, Xaero's Maps, Zoomify and of course build with LiteMatica.

Major changes:

Dungeons and Taverns: This has been updated with tons of features. I highly recommend trying the Adventure datapack preset, which now comes in two versions:

• Vanilla Adventure: This version disables the added enchantments.
• Standard Adventure with Enchantments: You can choose to use the new enchantments, and the save file will still be compatible with the vanilla game. However, please note that if you open and save the world without the Dungeons and Taverns datapack active, those added enchantments will disappear.
