Changes
First version for 26.3. While this is a Beta release with missing features, I highly recommend it! It is the best-performing version so far!
I have called this the "Vanilla Edition":
- World generation: There is no change in world generation. Version 26.3 is so much faster than previous versions that it is satisfyingly fast enough without C2ME, meaning you don't have to risk compatibility issues.
- Servercore removal: I also took out ServerCore. You will see noticeably higher TPS in complex worlds, but with original ticking, every redstone farm should be 100% compatible.
- Render distance: No Voxy yet, so I set the render distance to 32 (the vanilla maximum). For slower systems, please reduce it to about 20. For Mac users, I suggest switching to Vulkan and setting the maximum FPS to your screen's refresh rate. This will give you nice, smooth performance at the cost of losing shaders.
- Feature adjustments: I removed some features that changed vanilla behavior (like block placement helpers) but kept all visual updates. Not every mod is available yet, I plan to add the disabled ones once they are ported.
- Future editions: Don't worry, there will be Survival and Creative Editions too, featuring even more additions.
Major changes:
Dungeons and Taverns: This has been updated with tons of features. I highly recommend trying the Adventure datapack preset, which now comes in two versions:
- Vanilla Adventure: This version disables the added enchantments.
- Standard Adventure with Enchantments: You can choose to use the new enchantments, and the save file will still be compatible with the vanilla game. However, please note that if you open and save the world without the Dungeons and Taverns datapack active, those added enchantments will disappear.
Detailed changelog will be available soon.
