🧭 THE GREAT OVERHAUL — VANILLA VIBES 5.0

5.0 is the biggest overhaul Vanilla Vibes has received yet.

This update completely changes the direction of the pack, with a much stronger focus on RPG progression, exploration, quests, discovery, and making the world feel more alive.

✨ ADDED

📜 Mebahel's RPG - Adds a proper RPG quest system with quests, NPCs, choices, enemies, and rewards, giving you more things to do and reasons to explore.

🏰 Katter's Structures - Adds new structures, ruins, dungeons, and points of interest throughout the world, making exploration more rewarding.

📖 Field Guide - Lets you discover and document the creatures you encounter, giving exploration and wildlife another purpose.

📷 Exposure - Adds a camera that lets you take photographs of your adventures and the world around you.

⚔️ Skill Proficiencies - Replaces the old leveling system with skill-based progression. Your skills improve naturally based on what you actually do in-game.

🌿 BloomingNature - Adds new biomes and environments, giving the world more variety and making exploration feel less repetitive.

❌ REMOVED

🎯 Bountiful - Removed and replaced by Mebahel's RPG - Villager Quests and Companions.

👤 SkinShuffle - Removed due to bugs and compatibility issues.

⛰️ Tectonic - Removed to bring the terrain closer to the vanilla Minecraft style and make exploration feel more natural + better terrain generation.

📈 LevelZ - Removed and replaced by Skill Proficiencies for a more natural progression system based on your actions rather than a general level system.

⚙️ ALREADY SET UP

5.0 also comes with several settings already configured, so you can jump into the game without having to spend time setting everything up yourself.

🎮 Recommended Keybinds - Keybinds have already been configured to what I consider the best setup for the modpack.

🎨 Resource Packs - Texture/resource packs are already installed and placed in the correct order.

⚠️ Important: Some specific keybinds still need to be changed manually because of keybind conflicts or personal preferences.

🎯 THE GOAL

The goal of 5.0 is simple:

Make Vanilla Vibes feel like a proper RPG while still feeling like Minecraft.

The update focuses on:
