However, the system architecture has been completely modernized for version 26.2 and above to ensure flawless stability. ### For Minecraft 26.2 and Above - **Native Vulkan Automation:** The standalone VulkanMod has been removed. We removed it because Sodium now officially supports Vulkan via Minecraft's new native graphics API selection. The modpack is fully pre-configured to automatically shift your game to the Vulkan engine immediately upon launch. - **Superior Performance:** By shifting the workload to Sodium a highly popular, industry standard optimization mod you will experience significantly better frame rates. This change also completely eliminates the frequent crashes and mod conflicts previously caused by the outdated Vulkan wrapper mod. - **Iris Shaders Incompatibility:** Please note that Iris Shaders will not function while Minecraft is running on the native Vulkan engine.
