--- ## Why Vulkan? Most optimization packs tune Minecraft's **OpenGL** renderer. **Vulkan Updated** replaces it entirely, cutting CPU overhead and boosting frame rates on hardware where drivers hold OpenGL back (older AMD, Intel iGPUs, Nvidia). > **If your GPU is the bottleneck, Vulkan makes a noticeable difference.** --- ## Requirements | | Minimum | Recommended | |---|---|---| | **GPU** | Vulkan 1.2 (GTX 900+, RX 400+, Intel Arc) | Vulkan 1.4 (GTX 1060+, RX 5000+, Arc A-series) | | **OS** | Windows 10+ / Linux (kernel 5.11+) | Windows 11 / Linux (kernel 7.1, Wayland) | | **RAM** | 4 GB | 8 GB | | **Storage** | HDD | NVMe SSD | > Check support with `vulkaninfo` (Linux) or **GPU-Z** (Windows). > On Linux, **Wayland** outperforms X11. On Windows, keep GPU drivers up to date. --- ## Included Mods
