- Improved startup and resource-loading performance
- Improved chunk, world, entity, lighting, and game-logic processing
- Cross-version multiplayer support through ViaFabricPlus

- Custom compatibility and stability components
- Designed to be expanded with your own mods
Custom Compatibility Components
Client State Guard
Protects against certain late network packets and interface actions that can occur after a client world or player has already been unloaded.
This is intended to improve stability while:
- Leaving worlds
- Disconnecting from servers
- Transferring between multiplayer servers
- Returning to menus
Rendersnap Sodium Menu Compatibility
Integrates Rendersnap's controls into Sodium's video settings interface.
It provides:
- Rendersnap access through the normal video-settings path
- Correct control placement inside Sodium
- Session-cached discovery
- Quiet logging
- Support for GUI-scale and window-size changes
X-Factor Compatibility Patcher
Applies required local compatibility changes to the supported Modernica and Rendersnap versions.
On the first launch:
- Minecraft displays a setup message.
- The game closes.
- The patcher creates backups and disables incompatible Mixin registrations.
- The patched files are verified.
- The player is prompted to launch the pack again.
This process does not modify worlds, accounts, server lists, personal settings, or mod configuration files.
Clean Distribution
The distributed pack removes personal and regenerable data, including:
- Worlds and backups
- Multiplayer server lists
- Account-related cache data
- Screenshots and recordings
- Logs and crash reports
- Runtime caches
- Hardware and renderer fingerprints
- Launcher play history
- Personal control and interface preferences
Performance-related settings and authored mod configurations remain included.
Minecraft's accessibility onboarding screen is enabled for the first launch.
Important
Do not update individual mods in this pack.
X-Factor uses specific mod versions and compatibility changes required for the included optimization stack to work together.
Automatic individual updates may undo compatibility fixes or cause crashes, rendering issues, menu problems, networking errors, or reduced performance.
Install future X-Factor updates as complete pack releases.
Required JVM Flags
Add these JVM flags to your launcher:
-XX:+UseZGC --enable-native-access=ALL-UNNAMED -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+EnableJVMCI -XX:+EnableDynamicAgentLoading
Installation
A fresh instance is strongly recommended.
- Install X-Factor 1.0.0 as a new instance.
- Add the required JVM flags.
- Launch the pack and allow the compatibility setup to complete.
- Launch the pack again when prompted.
- Configure personal settings such as sensitivity, FOV, audio, keybinds, and GUI scale.
- Add optional mods gradually and test compatibility.
Purpose
X-Factor does not include quests, forced progression, large content expansions, technology systems, magic systems, or a predefined gameplay style.
It is an optimized foundation.
Use it for vanilla Minecraft, multiplayer, PvP, technical play, building, exploration, personal mod collections, or as the base of a much larger custom modpack.
X-Factor improves the foundation. What you build on it is up to you.
