Changes
Configuration has moved to config.yml, and upgrading no longer hides new settings from you.
- Your existing config.properties is imported automatically the first time 6.4.0 starts. Every value is carried across and the old file is renamed to config.properties.old, so there is nothing to do by hand.
- Options added in a release now appear in your config.yml with their defaults instead of staying invisible until you delete the file. This is why the Discord webhook and the other notification settings that shipped in 6.3.5 never showed up on existing servers.
- Kick messages support the placeholders {player}, {player_ip} and {last_ip}, so a denied player can be told which address they connected from and which one the server remembers.
- Fixed a crash in the Mojang status check. When the session server replied with a plain-text error page instead of JSON it threw an exception, which was noisy on Velocity and, more importantly, skipped that check entirely, so an outage of that shape would not have switched the server into offline mode.
- A config.yml that cannot be read is moved aside and replaced with a working one rather than stopping the plugin from loading.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
