🕵️ UnknownSMP Total Anonymity. No Names. No Skins. One Secret. UnknownSMP recreates the "Project Unknown" experience. It strips away all player identities, forcing everyone into absolute anonymity. Trust no one—because discovery means elimination.
🛡️ Core Features 👤 Absolute Anonymity: Everyone is renamed to "Player" and forced into the same skin. 💬 Masked Comms: Chat, death messages, and join/quit alerts are all anonymized. 🚫 Deep Privacy: Blocks /msg, hides players from TAB, and disables username tab-completion. ⚔️ Discovery Mechanic: Kill a player with a sword renamed (via anvil) to their real username to ban them permanently. ⚙️ Quick Start Install Dependencies: Needs ProtocolLib and NickAPI. Configuration: Fully customize the anonymous name, skin, and blocked commands in config.yml. TAB Integration: Supports the TAB plugin for seamless list masking.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
