ApoCinematicCore โ Changelog v1.0.2-beta
Author: ApoloCR | Status: Hotfix & Stability | Date: April 2026
This update focuses on critical state-cleaning issues and ensuring player physics are fully restored after cinematic sequences.
๐ง Bug Fixes & Cleanup
- Potion Effect Persistence Fix โ Resolved an issue where the
SLOW_FALLINGeffect (used for movement stabilization) remained on the player after the cinematic ended. - Redundant Cleanup Logic โ The
unfreezemethod now explicitly strips bothNIGHT_VISIONandSLOW_FALLINGto prevent lingering status effects in survival/creative modes. - Spectator Target Reset โ Fixed a bug where the player's camera could remain locked to a non-existent entity if the cinematic was cancelled abruptly.
โจ Smoothing & Stabilization
- Anti-Bounce Optimization โ Refined the gravity-dampening logic. The engine now ensures that vanilla Minecraft physics don't interfere with the smooth sub-tick teleports.
- State Restoration Sequence โ Optimized the order in which players are "unfrozen": NPCs are removed first, followed by effect clearing, and finally GameMode restoration to ensure a seamless transition.
โ ๏ธ Version Notes
- Backward Compatibility โ Fully compatible with recordings made in v1.0.1. No data migration required.
- Performance โ Improved the cleanup task to have zero impact on server main-thread performance during player exit.
โ Version Status Summary
- Timing: Correct (Recording = Playback) โ
- Cleanup: Fixed (No lingering effects) โ
- Physics: Stabilized (No micro-vibrations) โ
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
