ArenaPVP v1.0.2
What's New
Leaderboard Placeholders
- Added PlaceholderAPI support for TOP 10 kills and deaths:
%arenapvp_top_kills_<1-10>_name%/_val%%arenapvp_top_deaths_<1-10>_name%/_val%
- Replaces legacy Skript-based
%practice_top_*%placeholders for holograms, scoreboards, and DeluxeMenus leaderboards.
Action Bar HUD
- Persistent action bar showing live PvP stats (kills, deaths, KDR, streak, rank).
- On kill, displays the money earned for a few seconds alongside stats.
- Configurable per world, refresh interval, and display duration.
- New permission:
arenapvp.actionbar(default: true).
Rank Placeholder
%arenapvp_rank%returns the player's current tier (e.g.Iron 1,Gold 2,Netherite 3).- Ready for TAB, scoreboards, chat, and any PlaceholderAPI integration.
Economy
- Default kill reward set to $25 (matching common Skript setups).
- Death penalty disabled by default (
0.0). - New option
economy.chat-message-on-kill— disable chat messages when using the action bar for kill rewards.
Improvements
- Top leaderboard size unified under
placeholders.top-list-size(default: 10). - Kill reward messages localized in
messages.yml(Spanish-friendly defaults). - Empty leaderboard slots return
---for names and0for values.

Requirements
- Paper 26.1.2 (Minecraft 26.1.2)
- Java 25
- Soft dependencies: Vault, PlaceholderAPI, Essentials (optional), Multiverse-Core (optional), LuckPerms (optional)
Upgrade Notes
- Stats are stored in ArenaPVP's SQLite database — not vanilla Minecraft statistics. Leaderboards will populate as players earn kills/deaths through the plugin.
- If migrating from Skript economy scripts, remove duplicate kill-reward handlers to avoid double payouts.
- After updating, run
/arenapvp reloadand reload PlaceholderAPI-dependent plugins (TAB, FancyHolograms, DeluxeMenus).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
