Changes
What's new in 1.4
New ways to log in
- Captcha check before login, so bots have a harder time. Players you trust can skip it for a while.
- PIN pad and slider login, if you'd rather not make players type a password.
- Two-factor login for players who turned on 2FA in AuthMe.
Account recovery
- Forgot your password? Players can now get a code by email and pick a new password right in the game.
- Admins can use
/authmeui reset <player>to make someone choose a new password next time they join. - Premium players can be asked to set a password too.
Make it your own
- Custom screens: create your own welcome, rules or news pages in the config and show them before or after joining.
- Toast pop-ups for moments like a player's first registration.
- Discord webhook messages for logins, registrations, logouts and admin resets.
Safety
- Repeated wrong passwords from the same IP now lead to short temporary bans that grow longer each time.
- Bedrock players can be logged in automatically through Floodgate.
Compatibility
- Supports Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3 on Paper and Folia.
- Works with AuthMe Reloaded 6.x and AuthMeReReloaded. Email, 2FA and premium features now work on both.
- Better Folia support: emails, password changes, webhooks and commands run properly there now.
- You'll get a heads-up in the console if AuthMe 6's own login screen would show up alongside AuthMeUI.
Fixes
- PIN and slider login can now be turned on from the default config (
auth-mode.type). Older configs keep working.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
