Initial Release v1.0.0 Welcome to the first official release of BanSentinel, a lightweight and robust punishment management solution for modern servers.
New Features in this Version:
Advanced Punishment System: Support for both permanent and temporary bans with custom reasons.
IP-Tracking & Blacklisting: Built-in tools to track public IP addresses and block ban-evasion.
Visual Punish GUI: Access a chest-based interface via /punish <player> for rapid staff action.
Audit History: Local logging of all punishments for easy administrative review.
Automated Data Protection: Configurable backup system (defaulting to every 6 hours) to prevent data loss.
Silent Moderation: Support for the -s flag to punish players without global broadcasts.
Privacy Commitment: This release includes local-only data storage. BanSentinel does not "phone home" or share player IP data with any external third parties.
Commands & Permissions: All features, including /ban, /ipban, and /punish, are protected by the simpleban.admin permission node.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
