Changes
๐ญ Nickname-aware player identity
- Visible BasicStats output now follows the Bukkit display name by default, so NameMask, EssentialsX and compatible nickname plugins can integrate without duplicating a second identity system.
- Added
names.use-display-nameto keep server-wide visible names configurable. - Added
%basicstats_display_name%and%basicstats_username%PlaceholderAPI placeholders, plus the%basicstats_real_name%alias. - Stored statistics, UUIDs and command targets continue to use the real account identity; nickname changes do not create duplicate players or split data.
- Tablist, placeholder, leaderboard and dashboard-facing displays refresh after common
/nickand/nicknamecommands instead of waiting for the normal refresh interval.
๐ฅ๏ธ Safer dashboard identity handling
- Dashboard player profiles show the configured nickname prominently.
- The real Minecraft username is returned only to a valid temporary dashboard administrator token when
names.show-real-name-in-dashboardis enabled. - Read-only dashboard viewers do not receive the real username in player-detail responses.
๐งญ Cleaner help and maintenance
/basicstats helpnow hides setup, dashboard administration, reset, backup, reload and network commands from senders without the corresponding permission.- Existing commands, permissions, dashboard routes, configuration keys, APIs, YAML files and data formats remain compatible.
- Updated the version metadata, documentation and dashboard build label to 2.3.2.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
