Changes
2.0.1 ā Bug fixes
Map copies (important for 1.21.x servers)
- Fixed: on Paper 1.21.x the arena map was not copied correctly and matches started on a new vanilla/empty world. The plugin now detects the world layout from the Minecraft version (1.21.x vs 26.x).
- Fixed: maps built in void or custom-generator worlds got vanilla terrain in the match copy. The copy now keeps the template's generator and environment (also read from
bukkit.ymlwhen the template isn't loaded). - Fixed: the copy could fail while the server was saving the template world.
- Leftover match copies are now marked, so startup cleanup can never delete a real world named like a copy. Old copies misplaced by the previous bug are cleaned up automatically.
- A warning is logged when another plugin cancels the teleport to a spawn point.
Gameplay
- Fixed: in DUO/SQUAD a revived player could die right after the revive (fire, drowning, freezing, wither and poison kept ticking while downed). Revived players also get a short zone-damage grace (
knockdown.revive-zone-grace-seconds, default 3). - Fixed: falling into the void during a gulag duel no longer wins the duel.
- Fixed: a player reconnecting in the rejoin window could stay stuck in the lobby while counted alive.
- Fixed: players leaving a match now drop their loot (when
drop-loot-on-deathis on). - Fixed: splash and lingering potions ignored team and spectator rules (friendly fire, debuffing spectators, interfering with gulag duels). Self-buffs and mixed support potions still work.
- Fixed: portals could take players out of the match world.
- Fixed: spectators falling into the void now get teleported back.
- The party leader leaving no longer disbands the party: leadership passes to the next member.
Upgrades, config & storage
- Fixed: upgrading from 1.0.0 could lose custom values (gulag, effects, rewards, stats/MySQL credentials) during the config split.
- Fixed: a config file with a YAML syntax error was overwritten with defaults. It is now left untouched and reported in the console.
- Servers upgrading from 1.0.0 keep Italian (
language: it) automatically. - Example arenas are no longer recreated after you delete them.
- MySQL: automatic reconnect after idle timeouts; MySQL 8 authentication fixed.
- Fixed: after a PlugManX/hot reload, online players' profiles weren't loaded (shop and placeholders broken until relog).
- Safer shutdown: one failing step no longer skips saving stats and closing threads.
Other
/br top <category>now shows the value of the chosen category.- Setup: saving/renaming an arena no longer loses data on write errors; match copies can't be used as templates.
- Plus many smaller fixes (GUIs, signs, NPCs, chat, enchanted books in loot, compatibility checks for Paper 1.21.4ā1.21.11 and 26.1ā26.2).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
