Changes
[4.4.0] - 2026-09-16
Added
- Minecraft 26.3 support, as its own download. There are now three jars: the plain one for 1.21.x,
-mc26for 26.0 to 26.2, and the new-mc263for 26.3. A 26.2 or older server refuses the 26.3 jar with a clear message, and each jar only offers updates meant for its own Minecraft version. If a 26.3 server runs the-mc26jar, the console asks you to switch. - Hiding the ownership tag from players now works on Minecraft 26.3. 26.3 servers changed an item conversion the feature relies on, so it switched itself off at startup with an "unsupported server build" warning.
leaving_creative_modedecides what happens when someone switches out of creative mode. Whatever they carry becomes their new record, including what is packed inside shulker boxes and bundles, and the change is written into their history asLEFT_CREATIVE.RECORD(the default) only writes it down.ALERTalso alerts staff when someone switches back carrying more of an item than their record showed, once it reaches that item's alert threshold. It never removes anything and adds no suspicion./adp reloadapplies it.
Fixed
- Works on Spigot again. Since 4.3.0 the plugin threw an error on almost every item pickup, inventory click and drop on Spigot servers, because the check for a Bucket of Sulfur Cube needed a part of Paper that Spigot does not have. Item tracking on Spigot was effectively off. On Spigot, feeding a block to a live sulfur cube is still not recorded, because only Paper reports that.
- Crafting a tracked item into something untracked now takes it off the record. Turning a Block of Diamond back into diamonds, or using a tracked item at an anvil, smithing table or stonecutter to make an untracked item, left the record too high by that amount, which is room to dupe.
- Taking items out of a furnace is counted once. A furnace take was recorded twice, which left the record too high by the amount taken.
- Putting a book on a lectern is now recorded. Only taking a book off was, so a book passed between two players this way was counted twice.
- Update checks now reach Modrinth. The updater asked Modrinth for a project that does not exist, so every check quietly fell back to GitHub.
- Feeding a block to a live sulfur cube is now recorded. A player who fed a cube a tracked block, like a Block of Diamond, was never charged for it. Getting it back by shearing or killing the cube then counted as new, which left room to dupe. The block now counts as stored away when it goes in, and comes back to whoever gets it out. Needs Minecraft 26.2 or newer on Paper.
- Dragging items into a chest is now recorded. The server shortens the held stack before it tells plugins about a drag. The plugin counted from the already shortened stack, so it saw nothing move. Items spread into a chest by dragging were never taken off the player's record. Taking them back raised "came out of storage beyond what was ever put in", and the record stayed too high by that amount. A drag split between a chest and the player's own inventory could also count as taking items out. Copies made in creative by dragging with the middle mouse button now count as stored too.
- Creative mode no longer causes false alerts or leaves room to dupe. Nothing a player did in creative was recorded. Items they stored, dropped or placed there never counted as put away, so taking them out later, even in survival, raised "came out of storage beyond what was ever put in". Their record also stayed too high by that amount, which is room to dupe into. A shulker box copied with middle-click in creative raised "Has 12 but ledger shows 0" on the next timed check. Players in creative are now recorded like everyone else, apart from copying a stack with middle-click. Balance checks wait while someone is in creative, since anything can be made there.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
