Changes
BetterMob 1.1.4
Makes the MythicMobs "1Bit Elite Pillager" pack work end to end, and adds a large batch of skill-engine features along the way.
Added
- Drop tables:
droptables/files and aDrops:list on mobs. A mob with its own drops replaces the vanilla drops. Amounts like1to2work. - AI goals: priorities (
1 player), ranged-attack aliases,lookAtTargetandmonstersgoals - Mob options:
FollowRange,PreventItemPickup,Scale - New triggers:
~onShoot(bow and crossbow shots;CancelEventstops the vanilla arrow) - New mechanics:
equip,ignite,totem,shoot(arrows withoh=[...]on-hit skills),stun,setNoDamageTicks, tags (addtag/removetag), auras - Multi-target targeters:
@EntitiesNearOriginand@EntitiesInRadiuswithisPlayer/isCasterconditions. Nested skills inherit the target of the line that called them. @ModelPart{p=bone}: the real position of a BetterModel bone- Skill features:
Cooldown:,skillOnCooldown,distance{d=0-6},castinstead,hasaura,hastag,chance, inline skills,<caster.damage>placeholders - Particles:
yoffset andrepeat/repeatInterval
Fixed
~onAttackno longer cancels a mob's own arrow damage (it fires for melee hits only)- Skeleton-type mobs never shot: the bow goal lost to
lookAtTarget/randomstrollafterequip throwlaunched players about 30 blocks into the air (velocityYis now scaled likevelocity)- Bombs exploded at the mob instead of where the model throws them
- Knockback from before dying carried over after respawn
- Several AI goal names that were reported as "not available"
Known limits
- Aura effects (
oS,oE,oT,cE) are not run yet, totemonly runs its start lines, bodyrotationis ignored, shootfires arrows only. These are planned for the next release.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
