Goblin Rebalance
The Goblin refunded the full base emerald price on every steal β and since it also discounts prices, that let you profit from trades. Reworked:
- The stolen amount is now random and scales with level. Only a level-100 Goblin can grab the full price back; lower levels get a fraction, so a trade is never profitable below max level.
- It can now also pickpocket the exact item the villager sold (the enchanted book, tool, etc.) in a small random amount β not just emeralds.
Compiles clean on Paper 26.2; 66/66 tests pass. Drop BetterPets-1.17.1.jar into your plugins/ folder.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
