β¨ BetterSleep v1.0 - Complete Feature List
- β© Smooth Night Acceleration: Instead of instantly skipping the night, the plugin accelerates time (e.g., 150x speed) for an immersive experience. Includes a global BossBar showing the night's progress.
- β¨ Rewarding Rest (Buffs): Players who sleep are rewarded with configurable potion effects. Bonus: Sleeping creates a "cleanse" effect, removing all negative status ailments (e.g., Poison, Wither) upon waking up.
- π Insomnia Penalties (Debuffs): Players who refuse to sleep receive configurable punishments (e.g., Slowness, Weakness). Smart logic automatically ignores players in Creative/Spectator modes or with bypass permissions.
- π§ Nightmare Mechanic: Sleeping in low light (< 7) carries a configurable risk (default 20%). A nightmare can wake the player up violently and spawn monsters (Zombies, etc.) directly in their room.
- π± Eco-System Synchronization: The world doesn't just look faster; it acts faster. Crops grow and animals mature/reset breeding cooldowns at an accelerated rate during the night skip.
- β€οΈ Intelligent Effect Logic: The plugin respects existing gameplay. It will never overwrite a player's existing potion effect if it is stronger or lasts longer than the one provided by the plugin.
- π₯ Safety Protocols: Automatically disables Fire Spread during the time acceleration to prevent lag or accidental massive forest fires.
- π Per-World & Smart Percentages: Calculates required sleepers per world (e.g., Nether players don't block Overworld sleep). Admins can tweak the required percentage (default 49.9%) via commands.
- π οΈ Complete Admin Suite: Extensive management via
/bs. Modify sleep percentage, night speed, nightmare chance, and toggle modules (buffs/debuffs/mobs) on the fly with dynamic tab completion showing current values.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
