What's new in 1.1.0
Barrel menu rework
- Custom barrel GUI — right-clicking the barrel now opens a custom wooden interface in a compact dispenser-style grid instead of a plain chest menu.
- Water tank — the painted tank on the left fills up as you pour buckets in.
- Recipe paper slot — kvass is always available; the other brews need their paper inserted.
- Ingredient ghosts — empty ingredient slots show dark silhouettes that brighten as the barrel fills.
- No timers — fermentation is shown by stage, and only the real slots react to the cursor: everything else is pure decoration.
Placeable mugs
- Put your mug down — sneak + right-click the top of any block to place an empty or filled mug. It faces you and stands flat on the surface.
- Pick it back up — right-click a placed mug to grab it, hit it to knock it off.
- No floating mugs — break the block under a placed mug (explosions included) and it breaks and drops as an item.
Brewing changes
- Recipe papers — kvass needs no paper; the other brews do. Papers drop in dungeon-style chests, and your first kvass unlocks the next recipe.
- Cellar check — starting fermentation now properly requires a roof above the barrel: sky light blocks it, torches and glowstone don't.
Fixes
- Resource pack metadata now matches 1.21.9+ requirements (formats and overlays), so clients no longer log metadata errors.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
