0.5.0-rc.1
Compatibility
Changes
Superseded by 0.5.0-rc.2. Use rc.2, which fixes a WebSocket lock-order deadlock when closing slow consumers after event backpressure.
First public beta of Bridge.
- Added typed REST actions with per-credential scopes, rate limits, concurrency limits and idempotent request handling.
- Added optional WebSocket events with heartbeats, bounded queues, replay cursors and separate event scopes.
- Added optional JWT/JWKS authentication with issuer, audience, algorithm and lifetime validation.
- Added an outbound relay for servers that cannot accept inbound web traffic.
- Added the standalone
bridge-apiprovider contract for custom actions and events. - Added status and Prometheus metrics endpoints, player status, teleport, and optional Notice integration.
- Added reproducible release bundles, checksums and public artifact verification.
WebSocket, JWT and relay features are disabled by default. Local allowlists remain authoritative.
Requires Paper 26.2 and Java 25. This beta has passed automated tests and packaging checks; the stable release remains pending the manual Paper smoke test.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
