Changes
What's new
- Added The Falling Sky, a one-time Chronicle localized for English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Russian clients.
- Added player Chronicle recovery, admin reissue, configurable cooldown, localized notifications, and optional delivery sound.
- Improved compatibility with protection plugins and vanilla interactable blocks. Tears and Amulets are consumed only after a successful use.
- Preserved storm-drop and Amulet cooldowns across reconnects.
- Existing PDC-marked Celestial Tears remain valid and craftable after CustomModelData changes.
- Added safe particle validation and a limit of 5,000 particles per trail.
- Added a short-lived, configurable PlaceholderAPI Tear-count cache.
- Expanded automated coverage and updated development dependencies.
Upgrade notes
- Review the new
chronicleandplaceholder-tear-cache-max-entriessettings. Existing configurations are not overwritten automatically. - Setting
tear-custom-model-data: 0affects only newly created Tears. - The optional resource pack is unchanged from 1.1.6.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
