🚀 Major ChatMT 2.1.0 Update — Interactivity, Database Support, and Smart Filters!
We’ve completely rewritten the plugin's core, making it faster, more reliable, and more user-friendly. With this version, ChatMT takes a huge leap forward, becoming the ultimate chat management solution.
🔥 What's New:
🖱 Interactive Chat (MiniMessage): Chat nicknames are now clickable! Clicking a nickname automatically inserts the `/msg` command into the input bar. We’ve added sleek hover tooltips and full support for RGB gradients.
🛡 Smart Profanity Filter: A new anti-profanity algorithm. It condenses repeated characters, ignores special symbols, and successfully catches masked profanity, replacing it with asterisks.
🚷 Personal Ignore System: Added the `/ignore <nickname>` command. Players can filter their own chat experience—blocked users can no longer message you in local/global chat or via private messages (PMs).
💾 Database Support: Bans, mutes, and blacklists are now saved asynchronously to MySQL or SQLite. Penalties load instantly without causing TPS drops.
🌍 Multilingual Support: No more hardcoding! A `language` folder has been added with ready-to-use `ru.yml` and `en.yml` files. You can now change the server language with a single line in the config.
📝 Advanced Logging: Global chat, private messages (`/msg`, `/reply`), and punishment history are neatly organized into separate files within the `logs` folder for easy moderation.
Everything runs in the background, ensuring server performance remains stable while offering maximum flexibility to suit your needs. The update is available for download now!
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
