v1.1.0 — New features update
Major update adding trust lists, per-player limits, database persistence, and more.
✨ Added
- Trust list — grant a player access to a chest without giving them a physical key:
/chestlock trust <player>//chestlock untrust <player> - Chest limits — configurable max number of lockable chests per player via
chestlock.limit.<number>permissions (chestlock.limit.unlimitedto bypass) - Owner notifications — get notified in chat when someone tries to open your locked chest without permission
- Hopper protection — hoppers can no longer pull from or push into locked containers
- Auto-lock on place (optional) — automatically lock every chest/barrel/shulker box a player places
- SQLite persistence — new local database indexes every locked chest, powering:
/chestlock list— see all your locked chests/chestlock tp <number>— teleport to one from the list
- PlaceholderAPI support (optional) —
%chestlock_owned%,%chestlock_limit%,%chestlock_remaining% - Particle effects when locking/unlocking a chest
🔧 Fixed
- Locked chests broken by their owner now properly clean up their database entry and trust list (no more ghost entries in
/chestlock list)
⚙️ Config
New options under settings: — protect-from-hoppers, auto-lock-on-place, default-chest-limit, notify-owner-on-deny, particles-on-lock-change. All existing settings and messages remain unchanged.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
