Changes
Fixed
- Mob buckets (fish, axolotl, etc.) no longer release a mob into a frozen chunk on 1.21.11 / 26.x. Root cause: since 1.21.9 buckets are used through a different server code path where Paper pre-cancels the interact event, so the plugin never saw the bucket use at all.
- Players can no longer fall asleep in, wake up inside, or respawn inside a frozen chunk.
- Buckets used across a chunk border can no longer place a mob inside the frozen chunk.
- Fixed NPEs in the bucket handling and in the public API - the protection no longer crashes.
New
- Safety net: any entity that shows up in a frozen chunk after it froze gets removed - even if Minecraft changes the spawn mechanics again.
- /chunk list and the public API no longer report chunks as frozen that were never frozen.
- Typos in config.yml (unknown entity or material names) are now reported in the console instead of being silently ignored.
Compatibility
- Paper 1.21.4+ and Folia 1.21.4+ (tested on 1.21.4, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.3).
No config changes needed - all new options work with existing config files.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
