1.2.0-beta.1
Compatibility
Changes
Huge performance boost. Every part of ChunkVeil was reworked and tested under load with 100 fake players. Protection stays exactly the same.
- Chunk rewriting about 9x faster, and the same chunk is now only rewritten once for players standing together
- Reveal scans and entity scans cost about half
- No more lag spikes from chunks being re-hidden
- Reveals only go to the player who needs them
/chunkveil reloadno longer resends every chunk to everyone
Fixes: hidden mobs staying invisible or leaking names and items, Minecraft 1.21.0 to 1.21.4 chunks, caves filled with fake blocks, the End default settings, reveals while riding or standing still, and several Folia issues.
Note: this is a beta, please report anything odd. Minecraft 26.3 is not supported yet because of a ProtocolLib issue.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
