Changes
What's new
- Proxy support — route all Discord traffic (webhooks + the console bot) through a SOCKS5 or HTTP proxy. For servers hosted where discord.com is blocked. New
proxy:section in config.yml (off by default, optional username/password), applies live with/creativelog reload. /creativelog status— one-command diagnostics: every category's on/off + webhook state, proxy state, send queue depth, last successful send, last send error. Works from the console — paste it when asking for help.- Reliable delivery — log messages now go through an ordered retry queue: Discord rate limits (429) honour Retry-After, connection errors and 5xx retry with exponential backoff. Brief Discord/network outages no longer lose logs.
- Punishments category logs more commands — added
/mute,/tempmute,/unmute,/warn,/unwarn,/pardon-ip.
Bug fixes
- All Discord HTTP calls now have hard connect/read timeouts — a filtered network that silently drops packets can no longer hang the plugin or delay server shutdown.
- Messages containing tab or other control characters no longer break the webhook payload (previously the message was lost with a webhook error).
- The setup panel said admins are configured in config.yml — they live in admins.yml.
Notes
- Upgrading needs no config changes; the
proxy:section is optional. - Verified live on Paper 26.2 and Paper 1.21.11.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
