Changes
This is a major release: full refactor of the command system, firework system, internationalization, and compatibility layer.
Additions
- Subcommand System:
/cc help | effect | gui | chance | language | reload. Supports aliases, layered tab completion, and granular permissions (creeperconfetti.command.{effect,chance,language,reload}) - Multiple Firework Styles: Each style may contain one or more firework effects. When a creeper explodes, one style is randomly selected based on weight. Colors support three formats: color names / hexadecimal (
#FF0000) / RGB values - Style Probability System: Use
/cc effect chance <style> <percentage>to freely configure trigger chances for each style. Includes an auto-balancing mechanism that keeps the total probability at 100% - GUI Visual Manager:
/cc guifor visual management — paginated lists, previews, create new styles, delete styles, adjust probabilities by ±1/5/10%, and evenly distribute chances - Paginated Help Interface: Clickable
[Prev] [1] [2] [3] [Next]page controls in chat. Also supports/cc help <page number> - Fallback GeoIP Region Detection: 6 GeoIP endpoints queried in parallel, using the fastest successful response. Failure of a single endpoint does not break detection
- Config Migration System:
config-versionidentifier. On upgrade, old configs are automatically backed up to thebackups/folder, new config entries are merged, and existing user data is preserved - Complete set of 18 languages (
zh_cn/zh_tw/en_us/ja_jp/ko_kr/fr_fr/de_de/es_es/it_it/pt_pt/ru_ru/nl_nl/pl_pl/sv_se/tr_tr/ar_sa/hi_in/th_th). All messages are fully customizable debugToggle: Disabled by default to keep console output clean- Native Folia Support (Folia build)
Changes
- Commands restructured from flat commands to subcommands. Legacy commands such as
reseteffect/seteffect/setlanguagehave been merged undereffect/language - Config structure:
confetti_effect→ split intofirework_styles(styles) +firework_chances(probabilities). Old configurations are automatically migrated without data loss - Language codes switched to
xx_yyformat (zh→zh_cn,zht→zh_tw,en→en_us…). Legacy codes remain functional; old language files are automatically renamed while preserving your translations - Language file keys standardized to 99 keys across 6 sections (
command/help/effect/language/chance/gui). Untranslated keys fall back to English automatically - Version naming standardized to
4.0.0-SNAPSHOT+N-<platform>
Fixes
- Broken clickable help pagination: Click events missing the leading
/, causing page controls to send plain chat messages instead of running commands - Region detection failures: Detection would fail on single endpoint timeout or invalid response; unreliable JSON parsing replaced with parallel multi-endpoint requests + regex parsing
- GUI item names showing raw
&f: Color codes were not converted to§; color code handling unified - Excessive startup console spam: removed verbose logging of style lists, probabilities, and region probe details

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
