v1.1 — Feature Update
Paper 1.21.11 · Java 21
What's new
- Death title screen — flashes a configurable title and subtitle to the dead player on death
- Ranged PvP detection — separate message lists for bow, crossbow, and trident kills with
%distance%placeholder showing block distance - Kill streak messages — broadcasts at 3, 5, and 10 kill milestones with configurable message lists per threshold
- First assist credit — detects the last player who damaged the victim within a configurable time window and broadcasts a separate assist message
- Revenge kill detection — fires a special message when a player kills whoever killed them last
%dropped_item%placeholder — resolves to the most valuable item the player was holding at time of death- Broadcast radius — configurable block radius so only nearby players see death messages instead of the whole server; killer and victim always notified regardless of distance
- Boss kill messages — unique message lists for Wither, Ender Dragon, Elder Guardian, and Warden kills via a dedicated
BossKillListener - Discord webhook — posts every death message to a Discord channel via webhook URL using Java's built-in
HttpURLConnection, no extra dependencies required; runs async by default; per-cause ignore list supported

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
