Initial Release (v1.0.0)
This marks the official release of Decay Zone, providing a complete framework for automated environmental degradation and region management. This version focuses on stability, administrative ease of use, and immersive player feedback.
Implementation Highlights
- Regional Decay Engine: Core logic to monitor and degrade player-placed or natural blocks within defined coordinates.
- Coordinate-Snapped Selections: Advanced selection system that ensures all defined cuboids align perfectly with the block grid.
- Administrative Management Suite: A centralized GUI for monitoring, editing, and managing all active zones and their specific attributes.
- Environmental Audio-Visuals:
- Material-aware sound triggers (Wood, Stone, Gravel) to simulate physical stress.
- Dynamic particle dispersion based on block material data.
- Configuration Persistence: Instant auto-save functionality for all zone modifications and administrative settings.
- Advanced Control Features:
- Auto-Cleanup: Per-zone toggle for entity-optimized block removal.
- Zone Renaming: Simplified identifier management via command-line.
- Visualization: Real-time particle outlines for boundary verification.
Developed for professional server environments.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
