Changes
Added
- Introduce player influence on the physics engine. A player can now be
represented inside the simulation and interact with dynamic bodies. Enable it
per player with
/denizenphysics collision on|off [player](alias/dphysics, off by default, session-only): the player becomes an invisible kinematic collider that follows them in real time, so falling blocks and other dynamic bodies get pushed aside when the player walks through them. - Experimental: shulker colliders. A global, session-only, off-by-default
mode toggled with
/denizenphysics collision shulker on|off. When enabled, every physics block gets a real, solid Minecraft collision box (via an invisible AI-less shulker overlaid on the block_display) in addition to its normal visual. This lets falling blocks physically affect the player: the player can stand on a block, trip over one resting against a wall, be held down by a block falling onto them (unable to climb higher under its weight), or be pushed into the "swimming" crawl pose when pinned in a one-block gap. Purely one-directional (body → collider); it does not feed back into the physics engine.
Changed
- bStats now reports three clean version charts (Denizen version, denizen-physics version, and the physics engine version) instead of a backend string that fragmented across platforms.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
