Changes
๐ DivinityEconomy 4.0.0 (26.2) ๐
โ ๏ธ Upgrade Notes โ ๏ธ
- Java 25 is now required. The plugin is compiled for Java 25 and will not load on older runtimes.
- Minecraft 26.2 is required. This release targets the 26.2 API.
- Regenerate or update your
config.yml. The config format has changed: each market (Materials, Potions, Entities, Enchants, Experience) now has its ownEnable,Base Quantity,Buy/Sell ScalingandPricing Modelsettings. Back up your existing file, then let the plugin update it or delete it to regenerate, and re-apply your customisations.
โ Features & Updates โ
-
New Pricing Model System
You can now choose between four different pricing models for your server's economy:
- V1 (Linear): The original pricing model with a simple inverse relationship between supply and price.
- V2 (Elasticity): An improved model using logarithmic supply-demand curves for more realistic price movements. This is the recommended model for most servers.
- STATIC (Fixed): Prices remain constant regardless of supply and demand. This is useful for servers that want stable, predictable pricing.
- STATIC_BOTTOMLESS (Fixed, Infinite Supply): Like STATIC, prices stay constant, but quantities are not updated when players buy or sell. The market has unlimited supply and demand, so stock never runs out or builds up. Ideal for servers that want fully stable pricing with unlimited availability.
-
Granular Market Configuration
The markets for Potions and Entities can now be configured separately from Materials. Each market (Materials, Potions, Entities, Enchants, Experience) has its own settings for
Enable,Base Quantity,Buy/Sell Scaling, andPricing Modelin theconfig.yml. -
Direct Price Setting with
/setpriceA new command alias
/setprice(for/setvalue) has been added. When using theSTATICpricing model, this command now directly sets the fixed price for an item, rather than adjusting its stock quantity. -
Balanced Experience Market
The buy and sell scaling for the experience market has been re-balanced. You may need to regenerate your
config.ymlto see these changes (Buy Scaling: 1.25,Sell Scaling: 1.20). -
Updated to Minecraft 26.2
DivinityEconomy is now fully compatible with Minecraft version 26.2.
-
New Market Items (1.21.11 – 26.2)
The markets have been brought fully up to date with Minecraft 26.2. Only items players can actually obtain were added (technical blocks such as wall signs, crops and fluids are intentionally excluded):
- 26.2 Sulfur Caves: Sulfur, Potent Sulfur and Cinnabar, each with polished, brick, chiseled, stair, slab and wall variants, plus Sulfur Spike, Bucket of Sulfur Cube, Music Disc "Bounce" and the Sulfur Cube spawn egg/spawner.
- Spears & Nautilus Armor: Wooden through Netherite Spears, Copper/Iron/Golden/Diamond/Netherite Nautilus Armor, Copper and Netherite Horse Armor, plus the Nautilus, Zombie Nautilus, Parched and Camel Husk spawn eggs/spawners.
- Copper Age: Copper tools & armor, Copper Nuggets, Copper Torch, and the full oxidised and waxed ranges of Chiseled Copper, Copper Bars, Chains, Doors, Trapdoors, Lanterns, Grates, Bulbs, Chests, Golem Statues and Lightning Rods. Also Iron Chain and Tuff slabs, stairs, walls and chiselled variants.
- Garden & Wood: Shelves (every wood type), Pale Oak extras, Pale Moss Block, Pale Hanging Moss, Bush, Firefly Bush, Dry Grass, Wildflowers, Leaf Litter, Cactus Flower, Golden Dandelion.
- Misc: Happy Ghast Harnesses (all colours), Dried Ghast, Wolf Armor, coloured Bundles, Blue/Brown Eggs, Resin Brick, Chiseled Resin Bricks, new Banner Patterns, Armor Trims, Pottery Sherds and the "Tears", "Creator (Music Box)" and "Lava Chicken" music discs.
- Enchants: Lunge (the new spear enchantment).
- All new spawn eggs and spawners are disabled by default, like all other spawners/spawn eggs - enable and price them via
config.yml/entities.yml/materials.ymlas needed.
-
Aliases for All New Items
Every newly added item, spawner and the Lunge enchant has aliases, so players can type natural names such as
/buy oakshelf,/buy coppergolemstatueor/value sulfurcubecage. Duplicate or conflicting aliases from earlier versions (such as repeated Relic disc and Breeze entries) have also been cleaned up. -
Display Names in All 20 Languages
Every newly added item, spawner, spawn egg and the Lunge enchant now has a proper display name in all 20 supported languages, instead of showing its raw ID. New translations are machine-generated, so corrections are very welcome.
-
Automated Test Suite
The project now includes an automated test suite covering commands, the pricing models and the experience market, to help catch regressions in future releases.
-

๐ชฒ Bug Fixes ๐ชฒ
-
Static means Static
Fixed an issue whereby disabling dynamic prices (by using the STATIC model) could still produce dynamic results.
-
Fixed Invalid Potion & Entity Entries
Healing, Harming, Leaping, Regeneration and Swiftness potions (and their splash, lingering and tipped arrow forms) used outdated potion type names that no longer exist and could not load. The Mooshroom and Snow Golem spawners had the same problem with entity names. All have been corrected.
-
Fixed Invalid Material Entries
Replaced
SHELF,HANGING_PALE_MOSSandGHASTLING_SPAWN_EGGwith their correct material names (*_SHELF,PALE_HANGING_MOSS); Ghastlings have no spawn egg. -
Fixed
/evaluefor Non-Sword Enchants/evaluealways valued enchants against a diamond sword, so enchants that don't apply to swords (such as Lunge, Efficiency or Power) reported "not supported on this item". It now reports the correct buy and sell value for every enchant. A related bug that showed the buy error in place of the sell error has also been fixed. -
Fixed Locale Names
Corrected the Wind Charged potion names (they were keyed as
WIND_CHARGE_*so never matched), replaced the staleCHAINentry withIRON_CHAIN, fixed Brazilian Portuguese Cooked Rabbit (a mistyped key), and fixed an Arabic entry with unescaped quotes that was invalid YAML and could stop the Arabic language file from loading. Servers already using Arabic should deletelocale/ar_SA.ymlso it regenerates with the fix. -
Fixed Shutdown Errors
Addressed errors that occurred during server shutdown, ensuring a smoother and error-free shutdown process.
-
Fixed Command Permission Messages
Corrected a typo (
permission-messaage) inplugin.ymlthat stopped the no-permission message from being applied to the enchant and experience commands. -
Fixed
/esellallPermissionThe
de.enchant.eSellAllpermission is now properly declared (default: true) and included in the enchant permission group.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
