Dream Inception 1.0.21 — first public release
Sneak + right-click any bed to fall asleep into a dream copy of your world: same seed and terrain, none of your builds, Creative mode, WorldEdit ready. Wake with the Totem of Unsleep and return exactly where — and how — you fell asleep.
Highlights
- Vanilla sleep transition: lie down, ~5 s fade to black, day or night.
Getting up (or
/wake) cancels, just like a normal bed. - Your sleeping body (your skin, proper pose) stays on the bed while you dream. Breaking the bed rips the dreamer awake in its place.
- Dreaming counts as sleeping — the night passes if everyone is asleep or dreaming.
- Non-destructive arrivals in the shared dream world: nothing already built is
ever overwritten; wool clouds catch you where there's no ground. - WorldEdit permissions granted on entry, revoked on waking (optional
dependency, tested with WorldEdit 7.4.4); wooden-axe wand in hand. - Nothing escapes a dream: inventory snapshot restored on waking, ender chests
sealed, portals dead, no dreams within dreams. - Crash-safe: logout, death, or a server crash mid-dream always wakes you cleanly.
Requires Paper 26.2 (Purpur works; plain Spigot/Bukkit will not). No config.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
