2.1.2
Compatibility
Changes
DZEconomy v2.1.2
Stability release. The jar now runs on almost any server: Java 8 and up, Minecraft 1.9 through 1.26.x. This update also fixes a pile of broken messages and config wiring that shipped in earlier builds.
What changed
Broader compatibility
- Runs on Minecraft 1.9–1.26.x thanks to a feature adapter that picks the right API for each server version.
- Drops the Java 21 requirement. The jar compiles to Java 8 bytecode and loads on any server from Java 8 up.
New command
/economy give <player> <amount> [currency]— credit any currency from console or chat. Defaults to Money;mobcoin(s)andgem(s)work too.
Things that were broken and now work
- Starting balance never applied. New players now get their configured starting balance on first join.
- "Message not found". Around twenty messages pointed to
messages.ymlkeys that didn't exist. Welcome, PvP, payall, convert, and reload messages render properly now. - Transfer limits and cooldowns did nothing.
send/request/acceptnow honormax-transaction, daily limits, cooldowns,allow-self-transfer, and combat tag blocking./money acceptenforces the same limits as a normal send. - Relogging reset cooldowns and daily limits. They now persist across restarts.
- PvP loot wiped 100% of a victim's balance. The death listener read config keys that didn't exist. It now respects
pvp.loss-percent,minimum-balance, broadcasts, and world blacklists. - Leaderboards showed stale balances. Baltop now reflects live cached balances.
- PvP kill message reported the wrong amount. It shows the net credited after tax.
{killer},{victim},{mob},{symbol},{timeout}printed literally. They now resolve to real values.- Convert confirmation showed the wrong amount. It now reports what the player actually got after rates and fees.
- Daily reset wiped lifetime stats. Daily resets only clear daily counters now.
- SQLite backups could be torn. A WAL checkpoint runs before backing up.
- Migration could report success when it failed. Failures are now counted, reported, and abort if a backend can't initialize.
- Version comparison was wrong.
1.0-rc10now sorts above1.0-rc9.
Cleanup
- Removed dead code: unused update tasks, the request GUI, an unused transaction log entry, and unused methods.
- Removed dead config keys so existing installs stop chasing phantom settings.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
