════════════════════════════ ElementalCrystals Version 1.0 ════════════════════════════ This release marks the first official version of the ElementalCrystals plugin for Paper servers running Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1. Version **1.0 ** introduces the core mechanics, structure, and gameplay foundation of the plugin, focusing on elemental items with special abilities. In this version, the plugin adds support for custom elemental crystals that are fully integrated into survival gameplay. Each crystal is implemented as a custom item with a unique name, lore, and behavior. The internal system ensures that these items are properly recognized by the server and handled safely during player interactions. Version 1.0 includes balanced crafting mechanics that allow players to obtain elemental crystals through normal survival progression. Recipes are registered during server startup and are compatible with standard crafting tables. This ensures that the plugin feels natural and does not rely on commands for basic functionality. The plugin is built using the Paper API and targets Java 17, ensuring compatibility and performance on modern Minecraft servers. Care has been taken to avoid deprecated methods and unstable APIs, making this version reliable for long-term use within the 1.21.x game versions. A basic cooldown system is included to prevent excessive ability usage and maintain fair gameplay in multiplayer environments. All systems are lightweight and optimized to avoid unnecessary performance impact on the server. Version 1.0 serves as a stable base for future updates. Planned improvements may include additional elemental types, commands, configuration options, balance adjustments, and expanded abilities. This release focuses on stability, correctness, and clean integration with Paper servers. ════════════════════════════
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
