Changes
v1.1.0
- Fixed
HEADrequest handling — Resolved thejava.io.IOException: stream closederror that occurred when search engines, uptime monitors, and link checkers probed resources withHEADrequests. The server now returns headers (with correctContent-Length) without writing a body, as the HTTP spec requires. - Added
OPTIONS/ CORS preflight support — Responds with204 No ContentandAccess-Control-Allow-Origin/Methods/Headers. Required for complex JavaScript-heavy websites and browser extensions. - Added
405 Method Not Allowed— Unsupported HTTP methods (POST, PUT, etc.) now receive a proper status code instead of a stack trace. - Expanded MIME type support (17 → 30+ types) — Added modern WebP/AVIF images, video (WebM, MP4, Ogg), audio (MP3, WAV, Ogg), web fonts (EOT), and formats such as WASM, web manifests, CSV, YAML, and Markdown.
- Clearer port-in-use errors — If the configured port is already occupied, the plugin now prints a formatted message explaining the cause and suggesting alternative ports instead of a raw bind exception.
- Updated deprecated plugin metadata API — Replaced
getDescription().getVersion()with the moderngetPluginMeta().getVersion()to remove deprecation warnings on Paper 1.21.1. - Added
/web reloadcommand — Gracefully stops and restarts the embedded web server, re-readingconfig.ymland picking up new static files without a full server restart. Requires theemptynetweb.reloadpermission (default:op).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
