Changes
Added
- Added a complete permission system, so every command and feature has its own permission with a sensible default and one permission that grants everything.
- Added rank based home limits, allowing different groups to have different numbers of homes, including an unlimited option.
- Added a reload command that applies configuration and message changes without restarting the server.
- Added a fully customisable messages system covering every message the plugin sends, with colour codes, hex colours and automatic placeholders.
- Added persistent player data, so nicknames, mutes, hidden status, flight, damage immunity, away status and jail sentences are remembered across restarts.
- Added a rebuilt jail system that uses a jail you set once instead of building a cage, so the map is never damaged and nothing is left behind.
- Added timed jail sentences with a reason, automatic release when the time runs out, a release point and optional server wide announcements.
- Added release and unjail commands, plus the ability to see a player's sentence in their details.
- Added
/backreturning you to your previous location, your death location, or an older entry from your remembered history, including a list of recent locations you can jump back through by number. - Added upgraded teleport requests: several requests at once, choosing which one to accept by name, blocking all incoming requests, configurable expiry times, optional cross world requests and clearer messages for both sides.
- Added readable durations everywhere, so times can be written as
30s,5m,2h,1dorpermanent. - Added a record of each player's statistics, including kills, deaths, playtime and when they were last seen, shown in the player details command.
- Added paged menus with reliable buttons for homes, warps, kits and the command reference.
- Added per world random teleport settings that now apply as described.
- Added automatic unloading of map areas that are only loaded while searching for a random destination.
- Added console support for administration commands.
- Added suggestions while typing names, kits, warps, times and options.
- Added separate protection settings for each kind of damage an away player can be spared from.
- Added an optional entry point for players released from jail.
- The plugin now reports version 1.1.0 and lists ERIK9994857 as its author.
Fixed
- Fixed players without operator status being unable to use most commands, even the ones that were meant to be available to everybody.
- Fixed the jail command permanently destroying the terrain, leaving unremovable blocks behind after a restart.
- Fixed jailed players being able to escape by teleporting, break and place blocks, or be pushed out of the jail area.
- Fixed jail sentences and every other stored player state being forgotten after a restart.
- Fixed players hidden from others becoming visible again to everybody who was already online when they logged back in.
- Fixed hidden players still appearing in the last seen and player details results, and still announcing when they joined or left.
- Fixed hidden players keeping their old name in the player list after using a nickname.
- Fixed teleports landing players on the wrong block or refusing destinations that were perfectly safe.
- Fixed destinations on most kinds of floor being treated as unsafe, which blocked homes and warps for no reason.
- Fixed warps and random teleports using up their waiting time even when the teleport was refused, cancelled or failed.
- Fixed random teleporting ignoring its own on and off switch and ignoring its per world settings.
- Fixed random teleporting sending players into caves and under overhangs.
- Fixed random teleporting failing in ordinary terrain and freezing the server while it searched.
- Fixed teleporting still waiting before a zero second warm up, and fixed warm ups continuing while the player was being attacked.
- Fixed returning to the place you died not working as the documentation promised.
- Fixed requests sent to everybody never expiring and ignoring players who had requests switched off.
- Fixed the request switch doing the opposite of what it said, and refusing a request having no effect.
- Fixed a second teleport request silently replacing the first, with no way to choose between them.
- Fixed the player who accepts a request not being told what happened, and requests completing even after the other player went offline.
- Fixed most commands being unusable from the server console.
- Fixed mistyped or offline player names quietly applying healing, feeding and random teleporting to the person running the command.
- Fixed healing also restoring hunger.
- Fixed player details promising statistics that were never shown.
- Fixed last seen reporting everything under a day as "0 days ago", and fixed long lookups pausing the whole server.
- Fixed broadcasts showing colour codes as plain text instead of coloured text.
- Fixed nicknames being limited to a single word, two players being able to share the same nickname, and nicknames removing the away marker from the player list.
- Fixed mutes only accepting plain seconds, overflowing on large values, refusing offline players and never clearing when they expired.
- Fixed the command menu missing many commands and stopping after the first page.
- Fixed several commands being described incorrectly in menus and suggestions, and fixed suggestions only covering a handful of commands.
- Fixed menu entries being identified by their name, which broke homes and warps called things like "Next Page" and allowed menus to open a page that did not exist.
- Fixed dragging items into plugin menus, which could move or destroy items that were not meant to be taken.
- Fixed homes being deletable from the menu by players without permission to delete homes.
- Fixed kits built from incorrect item entries crashing the plugin when they were claimed.
- Fixed new kits always ignoring any waiting time, copying armour into the kit, and silently destroying items that did not fit.
- Fixed saved data being able to corrupt itself when it was changed at the same time as an automatic save.
- Fixed names containing dots breaking saved data, which are now checked and refused when invalid.
- Fixed the plugin failing to shut down cleanly and saving its data twice when it was disabled.
- Fixed spawn points of worlds that no longer exist being kept forever.
- Fixed away players being immune to every kind of damage, including falling and lava, instead of only the configured sources.
- Fixed the away movement warning filling the chat, and away players keeping their away marker only until they changed their nickname.
- Fixed impossible settings, such as negative distances, oversized waiting times and huge search ranges, causing errors instead of being corrected.
- Fixed the startup and shutdown messages always naming an out of date version.
- Fixed flight, damage immunity, hidden status and away status being left behind for players who logged out.
- Fixed saved data being rewritten in a way that erased the notes and explanations in the main configuration.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
