⚡ Fake Tab Players v2.4.0 — Realistic Activity & Ping Simulation
🌟 New Features & Enhancements
- Dynamic Simulated Activity: Fake players now organically generate simulated death messages and advancement announcements in chat at configurable intervals.
- Realistic Ping Jitter: Built-in ping variance simulates real-life network latency fluctuations, making tablist entries indistinguishable from real players.
- LuckPerms Fallback Mode: Embedded LuckPerms API support ensures complete compatibility and zero startup crashes on servers running without LuckPerms or during delayed API initialization.
- New Admin Commands:
/faketab simulate death [player]— Instantly trigger realistic death simulation for a fake player./faketab simulate advancement [player]— Announce an advancement celebration for a fake player.
- PlaceholderAPI Expansion Support: Enhanced placeholders for fake player count, ping, and activity status.
- Optimized Packet Pipeline: Cleaned packet formatting for ultra-low overhead on high-capacity servers.
🐛 Fixes & Stability
- Resolved LuckPerms class resolution when LuckPerms is absent.
- Ensured thread-safe tablist ordering updates.
- Tested and verified on modern Paper/Purpur/Spigot runtime environments.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
