FuryAntiElytra is a modern and lightweight base plugin for Minecraft Paper (and forks like Purpur) designed to restrict and disable Elytra flight in specific worlds.
It is built utilizing modern PaperMC APIs, compiles under Java 25, and supports dynamic command registration via Brigadier lifecycle events.
Features
- Per-World Elytra Restriction: Cancels and prevents Elytra gliding in real-time within configured worlds.
- Advanced Color Support (Adventure/MiniMessage): Supports both traditional legacy ampersand codes (e.g.,
&c) and modern Adventure MiniMessage tags (e.g.,<red>Message</red>) in configuration messages. - Spam Prevention: Warns players using a built-in 2-second message cooldown to avoid chat flooding.
- Bypass Permission: Allows granting exceptions (
furyantielytra.bypass) to specific players so they can glide anywhere. - Modern Command System: Registers command structures dynamically during startup using Paper's
LifecycleEventManagerandBasicCommandclasses, offering native autocompletion.
Requirements
- Server: PaperMC, Purpur, or any other fork compatible with version 26.1.2 or higher.
- Java: Version 25 (Eclipse Temurin recommended).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
