Multi-version support (1.19.x – 26.x) The plugin now runs on Spigot and Paper across a wide range of versions. It automatically detects the server version at startup and uses the appropriate API for chat events, player kicking, IP banning, and potion effects. Admin commands (/gk) A full suite of admin commands was added, all requiring the gatekeeper.admin permission (ops by default). Includes tab completion for subcommands and online player names. /gk verify <player|ip> Manually trust a player's current IP or a raw IP address. If the player is online and currently waiting to authenticate, they are cleared immediately without needing to relog. /gk unverify <player|ip> Remove a trusted IP. If the target player is currently online, they are immediately put into pending authentication — no relog required. If offline, all their trusted IPs are wiped so they must authenticate fresh on next login. /gk status <player> Shows whether a player is currently pending authentication and lists all of their trusted IP addresses. /gk reload Reloads config.yml on the fly without restarting or reloading the server. Authentication timeout Players who join and don't authenticate within the configured time (default 120 seconds) are automatically kicked. Configurable via auth-timeout-seconds in config.yml, set to 0 to disable. Stricter lockdown while pending auth Players waiting to authenticate can no longer move (they are teleported back on every attempt), drop items, click their inventory, or interact with anything in the world until they authenticate.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
