I'm excited to announce the first beta of Genius v1.0.0!
The plugin now allows Genius to search the web for answers when needed, making it smarter than ever. In my testing, it still gets things wrong sometimes even after searching the web, so I will be tweaking the system prompt in a future release.
What's Changed
Added
- Web search functionality
- Configuration options for web search tool
- Configuration options to enable logging for:
- HTTP requests made by Genius
- Tool calls made by Genius
- Conversations between players and Genius

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
