Changes
New in 1.4.0 – Government System
- 👑 Automatic Government Formation: After an election ends, the winner is automatically assigned to the linked office (can be enabled/disabled). Elections and offices can be linked bidirectionally—admins assign them, and a candidate's office affiliation remains visible.
- 🏛️ Offices: Predefined templates (President, Mayor, Governor, Minister) and custom offices. Individual term lengths per office (days/hours or unlimited) with a remaining-time display and automatic term expiration.
- 🚪 Resignation (with confirmation prompt) and ❌ Removal from Office by admins (with a custom reason).
- 👥 Deputies: Appointed by the office holder; automatically takes over the office upon resignation, removal, or term expiration (can be disabled).
- 📜 Swearing-in Ceremony with a broadcast and optional fireworks & sound.
- 📈 Government History: All completed terms are permanently saved (office, holder, deputy, party, duration, reason for ending).
- 🔗 LuckPerms Integration (optional): A configurable group is automatically assigned upon taking office and removed when the term ends.
- 🖥️ New command /regierung (aliases: government, gov) opens the government overview. Everything is GUI-driven, including admin settings.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
