Changes
New in 1.2.0 – Election Campaign
- 📢 Campaign Phase: Admins start the campaign for each election (immediately via GUI or automatically at a scheduled time). A new "Campaign" status sits between "Pending" and "Active."
- 📋 Candidate Overview featuring player head, name, party (color-coded), office, slogan, and vote count.
- 🗳️ Vote Directly in GUI: Vote by clicking on a candidate during the active election (one vote per person); right-click to view the election manifesto.
- 📜 Election Manifestos: Candidates manage their title, slogan, detailed text, office, and party via "My Campaign" (text input via chat).
- 🏛️ Party Affiliation: Candidates run representing their own party (from version 1.1.0) or as independents.
- 📅 Live Countdown to election start/end – displayable via scoreboard, action bar, chat reminders, and GUI; each channel can be toggled on/off individually in the GUI. Reminder times are configurable.
- 💾 All campaign data (manifestos, party, office, campaign status) is permanently saved; existing databases are automatically migrated.
Debates and campaign posters will follow in a future update.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
