Changes
New in 1.3.0 – Advanced Elections
- 🗳️ Mail-in Voting: Can be enabled per election with a dedicated time window. Players vote in advance; votes are securely stored and only counted when the election begins. Settings can be modified optionally. Live counter for mail-in votes cast.
- 🥇 Multiple Rounds: If no one reaches the configurable majority (e.g., 50%), the next round starts automatically (number of rounds configurable, with a specific timeframe for each).
- 🥈 Automatic Run-off: If no decision is reached, the top two candidates face off in a run-off election – fully automatic, or optionally manual.
- 📊 Percentage Results: Per candidate: votes, percentage, ranking, and elected status; plus total votes and round number – displayed in the GUI and chat.
- 📈 Election History: All completed elections are permanently saved (date, winner, votes, rounds, run-off) and viewable in a dedicated GUI.
- 📋 Export: Results exported as CSV or JSON to
plugins/GovernmentX/exports; optional automatic export after every election. - ⚙️ All settings in the GUI: Election → Edit → Advanced Election Settings.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
