Changes
Changelog (v2.0.0)
- Kyori MiniMessage Support: Replaced old legacy colors with native MiniMessage. You can now use gradients, hex colors, and hover effects in chat bubbles!
- Cosmetic Bubble Styles: Added permission-based styling in config.yml. Create custom bubble styles for VIPs, Admins, or any group (e.g. hayamessage.style.vip or hayamessage.style.admin) with distinct backgrounds, opacities, and formatting templates.
- Smart Stacking Queue: Chat bubbles no longer override each other immediately. Old bubbles smoothly animate and shift upwards when a player sends multiple messages.
- Chat Radius Integration: Customize viewing ranges dynamically! Hooked prefixes (like ! for shout or w: for whisper) to automatically adjust the visibility distance of bubbles.
- Client-Side Toggle Command: Added /hmessage toggle (hayamessage.toggle) allowing individual players to hide/show all bubbles on their screen.
- Experimental Typing Indicator: Optional config-toggleable ... indicator showing when players start typing.
- Performance & Code Optimizations.
- Bulletproof Compatibility: Implemented highest-priority chat intercepting, soft-dependencies on PlaceholderAPI, and smart dynamic vanish detection (detects invisible state, EssentialsVanish, PremiumVanish, SuperVanish).
- English & Russian Config Localization: Fully translated comments in both languages in config.yml.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
