Changes
- Players now see the same block reason every time, including on reconnect. The first denial carried the proper message (their name and the reason) and from then on they got a generic "you cannot join right now", which is what they saw almost always, because blocks are cached locally for hours. Your staff had to open the panel to find out what happened.
- The fallback text, for when there is nothing remembered, now also names the player and tells them to turn the VPN off, in all 27 panel languages.
- Stopping the server can no longer hang. The connector closed its channel to Jarvis by waiting with no time limit for everything still in flight, and that channel stays open on purpose while the server is running, so it never finished on its own. There is a limit now, and the last report still goes out before closing.
- Linking survives a failed save. If the connector received your license and could not write it to disk, it stopped asking for links anyway, leaving the server with no license and nothing on screen. Now it keeps going and prints a fresh link.
- The pace of the linking loop is set by the panel, within the connector's own limits. Nothing changes for someone who just installed it.
- If the owner has enabled blocking for game accelerators and relays, players read that reason in their own language instead of the generic VPN text.
- Verified on Velocity 4.0 (with Floodgate), Velocity 3.x, BungeeCord and Paper. Still Java 17.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
