Changes
0.0.5-beta
A big accuracy and cleanup release on top of 0.0.4. The main goals were fewer false kicks, protection against mace one-shot exploits, the full packet-order check set, and a config that's easier to read.
✨ New
- TeleportHit check: blocks one-shot mace hits (MaceKill / MaceDMG) and teleport aura. If a hit comes right after a move no real client can make in one packet, the hit is cancelled, so no damage lands.
- Packet-order checks restored: PacketOrderA–O are back (15 checks). They catch clients that fake actions and send packets in the wrong order. B and C can kick; the rest are beta and alert only. PacketOrderP ships disabled, same as upstream.
- Config versioning: configs now carry a
config-version. On update, your file is rebuilt with the new layout and keys, your values are kept, and a.bakbackup is saved. Messages that moved between files keep your customised text.
🐛 False-positive & bug fixes
- Low TPS no longer switches checks off: below
minimum-tpsa check stops completely, and the old default of 19.5 silently switched off 84 checks during normal TPS dips (crash checks included). The default is now 15. BadPackets, Crash and Exploit never pause. - Old clients: players on 1.9–1.21.1 standing still (for example at a mob grinder) no longer false-flag the per-tick checks: NoHitDelay, KillAuraB, AutoClickerB, AutoWeapon, AttributeSwap, TriggerBot and NukerA.
- Momentum: camel dash, ice boats leaving ice, and TNT or wind-charge launches no longer flag EntitySpeed, BoatFly or Fly.
- Holding right-click: holding right-click with rockets no longer flags FireworkBoost.
- Building: drag-click bridging and scaffolding no longer flag AutoClicker, FastPlace or Tower.
- AutoFish now detects real fish bites. It used to flag rod PvP instead.
- AutoArmor no longer flags taking armor off.
- AutoParkour no longer flags walking up hills or vanilla Auto-Jump.
- CrystalAura placement detection now works on modern clients.
- BoatClip no longer flags after a server teleport or a vehicle change.
- Kick-immunity bypass closed: a well-timed lag spike could make a player immune to kicks for the rest of an offense.
- Violation decay: time-based decay now applies only to checks that set it. Rare-event checks such as AutoRespawn and AutoTotem can reach their threshold again.
- Reach now alerts staff before it kicks.
- Spectate:
/jester spectateinto another world no longer drops staff into survival.
⚙️ Configuration & tuning
config.ymlandmessages.ymlreorganised: checks are grouped by what they detect, each has a short description, and settings are grouped the same way.- Flag hover tooltip is now editable in
messages.yml(alert-hover). - All messages now live in
messages.yml. toggle-alerts-on-joinnow works.
📌 Notes
- No need to delete your config. It migrates automatically on first start, and backups are saved as
config.yml.bak/messages.yml.bak. - Requires PacketEvents.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
