Changes
0.0.4-beta
A large stability, accuracy and configurability pass on top of 0.0.3 — mostly killing false positives, hardening detections, and exposing every setting. Two new checks added.
✨ New
- GhostBlock check — flags placing a block against a position that is air server-side (the ghost-block region exploit).
- GhostItem check — flags using an item the server doesn't see in the player's hand (inventory desync / fake item).
- Global high-ping guard — above a configurable ping, movement/combat checks alert but don't kick; packet-integrity checks (BadPackets/Crash/Exploit) still enforce. Judged on live ping, so a lag-switch can't buy kick-immunity.
- AFK via WorldGuard flag — mark no-AFK zones natively:
/rg flag <region> jester-afk-blocked allow(region list removed).
🐛 False-positive & bug fixes
- Throwing egg / snowball / ender pearl / splash & lingering potion / xp bottle / fishing rod no longer leaves a stuck "using item" state that false-flagged NoSlow & Multitask.
- Criticals no longer false-flags players attacking while riding a horse/boat.
- NoSlow loosened + much faster violation decay — stops false kicks on high-ping players.
- ReachB hardened: pose-aware eye height (swimming/elytra were ~1 block off), riders skipped, absurd high-ping distances ignored, shield/knockback grace, evidence not wiped by skipped hits.
- KillAuraC now needs a streak of attacks-while-GUI-open (fixes a container open/close race).
- TriggerBot now uses real ray-box hitbox intersection instead of a fixed sphere — correct for every mob size (cow/horse/etc.).
- Phase no longer false-kicks when standing on a shulker box as it opens (still catches real phasing).
- AutoParkour division-by-zero / bitmask-overflow guard on
window-size. - Rebalanced the FP-prone rate checks (AutoClicker, FastBreak, FastPlace, AutoArmor, Multitask) so butterfly/drag clicking, fast bridging and quick armor swaps don't trip them.
⚙️ Configuration & tuning
- Every check is now visible & configurable in
config.yml— added blocks for ~100 previously-hidden checks. - ~60 orphaned settings exposed that the code read but the config never listed: violation history/database (SQLite/MySQL), ghost-block/exploit options, Knockback & Reach tuning, ChestStealer/AutoBlock/AutoPot/Explosion, and an Advanced section (high-ping API limits, packet-spam threshold, item-usage resets, etc.).
- 11 command-response messages (freeze / tp / cps / kb / setback / rotate / stats / clearviolations) added to
messages.ymlso they're customizable. - Packet-integrity checks (BadPackets / Crash / Exploit) now enforce (kick) with commands.
- AFK settings merged into
config.ymlunderafk:(separate afk.yml removed). Reachmax-violations set to 3;KillAuraBmin-targets,KillAuraC/GhostBlock/GhostItemmin-consecutive, andReachextra-reachare now configurable.
📌 Notes
- Back up your config and let it regenerate after updating — many keys were added/renamed.
- Requires PacketEvents.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
