LifeWars - 0.1.9 Update
This update fixes several item and command exploits, moves the ban system onto UUIDs so eliminations
Security Fixes
- Heart Duplication: Hearts are no longer identified by their display name. Previously any renamed Nether Star matching the configured heart name counted as a real heart, allowing unlimited free health. Hearts are now verified by a persistent data tag that cannot be faked
- Withdraw Overflow: Fixed an integer overflow in
/withdrawthat let large amounts wrap around to a negative value, granting max health instead of removing it while also producing an enormous heart stack. Withdraw amounts
Major Features
- UUID Ban Storage: Eliminated players are now stored by UUID instead of name, so bans persist across name changes.
- Automatic Ban Migration: Existing name-based entries in
BannedPlayers.ymlare converted to UUIDs on startup, with each conversion logged. - Legacy Heart Conversion: Older untagged hearts are fixed automatically on join and on use, verified by both name and lore so renamed items cannot qualify. Controlled by the new
gameplay.convertLegacyHeartssetting.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
